Under a signed contract with „Free-Duty Zone – Burgas“ JSC (FZB) and a Decision of the Agency “Customs“ under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Bulgaria BULFIRE Ltd. is the Operator for carrying out warehouse and commercial activities on the territory of FZB. As an Operator of FZB, we can offer EU and non-EU companies a full package of warehousing, customs, logistics, certification, and trade services for import, export, and transit of various goods. Working through us at FZB provides substantial economic and operational benefits to EU and non-EU companies importing, exporting, and transiting goods, as follows:

  1. All types of goods are accepted in closed and open warehouses – packages, containers, bulk and liquid cargoes incl. dangerous goods arriving or departing by land, sea, air and rail transport.
  2. Warehouse space, customs, and logistics services are offered at prices lower than the prices for these services at other logistics bases or warehouses under customs control. The term for the storage of goods in FZB is unlimited.
  3. Production areas are available for cutting, packaging, labelling, and other auxiliary or production activities on the territory of FZB.
  4. Goods imported from third countries (outside the EU) entering the territory of the FZB are exempt from customs duties and VAT. For them, no monetary security for customs duties and VAT is due in the form of a money transfer or a bank guarantee, regardless of the storage period in the FZB.
  5. It is possible to partially release the goods from customs (min. 1 pallet/ton), which allows maximum efficiency of sales and flexibility in planning customs and VAT expenses according to your sales plan.
  6. On the territory of the FZB, it is possible to change the ownership of goods arriving
    or departing from the EU or outside the EU. Through us, you can resell your goods to
    a third party at a price specified by you.
  7. We provide certification and other permit documents for customs clearance of
    your goods and commodity control through an authorized certification body
    (https://certconsult.ecoes.eu/).
  8. All customs and logistics services are organized by us, incl. loading and
    unloading activities, material accounting, customs clearance of documents for
    import or export, and others.
  9. The goods arrive at FZB in the name of the buyer and are his property. They are protected by serious physical security and strict customs control and accountability. By order of the owner, the goods leave the FZB and are sent to the address specified by him in Bulgaria, EU countries, or non-EU countries.
  10. FZB has a key geographical location. It is located only 330 km by road from the largest city and the largest shopping center in Europe – Istanbul Turkey. The fact that FZB is closer to Istanbul than to Sofia gives additional advantages for the development of imports and exports in this European and Asian trade direction.
  11. We provide assistance in selling your goods located in FZB wholesale or retail to our EU and non-EU customers.
  12. We provide a guarantee of commodity collateral to the importer’s bank to obtain bank commodity financing (credit).
