ARMORED MILITARY CARRIERS (APC)
BULFIRE Ltd. is an EU company that was established to design, manufacture, transform, and service special equipment for the power structures of Bulgaria, such as the Ministry of Défense, the Ministry of Interior, the State Agency for Civil Protection, all military and civilian airports, and other strategic sites – nuclear power plants, and oil refineries. Since 2025, BULFIRE Ltd. has signed a contract with the Military Industrial Complex of the Republic of Bulgaria – TEREM Holding EAD (https://terem.bg/) under the Ministry of Défense for joint production, transformations, and service of specialized military and fire equipment.
In addition to producing new vehicles, the company’s primary activity is the conversion of existing military vehicles into armoured vehicles. This activity has high military, technical, and economic efficiency.
DESIGN and PRODUCTION – all APCs are designed, manufactured, tested, and certified according to the customer’s specific clearances for load capacity and cross-country ability of the base chassis, degree of bulletproof protection, and type of armament.

BASIC CHASSIS – for the production of APCs, special basic chassis with a high degree of reliability, high strength of the materials used, high ground clearance, and a wheel configuration suitable for movement on all terrains are used.
LIGHT BASE CHASSIS 4×4:
Total weight: 1.000 kg – 7.200 kg
Engine: 105 hp – 210 hp, EURO 6
Ground clearance: 230 mm – 320 mm
Capacity: 3 (2+1) – 8 (7+1) people
APCs on light base chassis are used for military and other purposes, such as police, gendarmerie, collection vehicles, etc.

MEDIUM BASE CHASSIS 4×4 and 6×6
Total weight for 4×4 – up to 18,000 kg
Total weight for 6×6 – up to 26.000 kg
Ground clearance: 300 mm – 350 mm
Engine: diesel, 330 hp – 460 hp, EURO 6
Capacity: 4 (3+1) – 10 (9 +1) people

HEAVY BASE CHASSIS – 8х6 and 8×8
Total weight for 8×6 – up to 33,000 kg
Total weight for 8×8 – up to 42.000 kg
Ground clearance: 320 mm – 420 mm
Engine: diesel, 330 hp – 540 hp, EURO 6
Capacity: 4 (3+1) – 14 (13+1) people
NOTE: All images are general and intended to show the overall appearance of the APC built on various base chassis. The specific configuration of the APC is designed according to the customer’s stated requirements and specifications.

BALLISTIC PROTECTION
The degree of ballistic protection is designed and manufactured according to the customer’s requirements. The ballistic protection levels of all APCs correspond to the protection regulated in the STANAG standard 4569 (NATO AEP-55 STANAG 4569).

MATERIALS: Different levels of ballistic protection are achieved through the use of composite materials. Composite materials exhibit a synergistic effect, resulting in a higher degree of protection and lower weight for the APC.
For composite combinations, two or more of the following materials with different thicknesses are used:
- Ballistic steels with high strength and Brinell hardness (HB) min. 500
- Aluminium ceramics (Al2O3) with purity above 98% -99% and Vickers hardness (HV5) 1500
- Aramid fibres (Kevlar, Dyneema, UHMWWPE, etc.)
- Transparent armour – multilayer armoured glasses providing a protection level BR1 – BR7 according to standard EN 1063.
To achieve a higher level of ballistic protection, the external walls of the ACP were built at an angle smaller than 900.
PROTECTION FROM DRONES – For protection against drones, protective metal nets with mechanical or hydraulic tension are offered, covering the side walls and roof of the APC. These nets force the drone to explode at a distance from the APC, which protects the machine and crew from direct hit and destruction.
MINE PROTECTION – APCs, military trucks, or other military wheeled and tracked vehicles are equipped with rollers moving in front of the vehicle for mine protection. The protective rollers are raised and lowered by a hydraulic system that is installed by us, regardless of the type of military vehicle.

ARMAMENT

APCs are equipped with new small arms and/or artillery weapons according to the customer’s requirements or with weapons owned by the customer. It also carries out deliveries of various types of weapons for equipping other military equipment owned by the customer.
TRANSFORMATIONS
Provision of services for the conversion of existing transport equipment owned by the client into APCs and equipping the converted APCs with the necessary weapons. Services for the transformation of transport and other trucks owned by the client into armoured vehicles equipped with small arms and/or artillery weapons.

This type of service has great technical, economic, and military potential for military formations with available trucks that are not being used or military formations with a limited budget.
We do not offer standardized armored vehicles that could meet the client’s requirements.
We offer armored and other military vehicles equipped with weapons on an individual order for each client. Only in this case is 100% compliance with the offered vehicles’ needs and the client’s specific requirements achieved.
To implement this approach, when delivering new armored vehicles or transforming existing military vehicles, individual design, production, and certification of the final product are carried out according to the current NATO standards for the respective type of military equipment.
Our specialization in individual design, production, and certification of the final product for single units or larger batches does not increase the price of the final product.
ALL-TERRAIN FUEL TANKERS
The VOLVO, CATERPILLAR, HYUNDAI and BELL all-terrain fuel tankers are highly cross-country vehicles that can deliver large quantities of fuel up to 60.000 L in difficult-to-access terrain such as mountainous areas, deserts, swamps, and other terrains where normal or off-road trucks cannot move. The main advantage of these all-terrain fuel tankers is that they deliver large quantities of fuel only on their chassis without using trailers or semi-trailers. The absence of trailers and semi-trailers, the truck’s powerful engine, high ground clearance up to 600+ mm, and wheel configuration 6х6 ensures reliable operation in any challenging terrain conditions.

GENERAL VIEW OF ALL-TERRAIN FUEL TANKERS 6х6
With this type of all-terrain fuel tankers, they can refuel up to about 50 – 100 tracked or wheeled machines, making them extremely suitable for the following purposes:
- For military purposes – The all-terrain fuel tankers can be used to refuel armoured personnel carriers, tanks, self-propelled artillery installations or other tracked and wheeled military vehicles at the military training grounds, in forest and other hard-to-reach areas or at the firing position.
- For aviation equipment – For refuelling helicopters and airplanes at permanent or temporary airports.
- For construction and mining – For charging heavy tracked, wheeled, or stationary machines at the place of their work.
- For areas without a road – for work in deserts, jungles, forests, steppes, and other areas where there are no roads.
